With Storm Brendan currently lashing the UK, we thought you might like a weather report from Davenport.
Shortly we're off for lunch with our neighbours, Larry and Dottie who will introduce us to the Davenport Diner.
Larry has upset me a little this morning, telling me that there's a cold front coming across the States from Alaska and that the temperatures will be taking a dip next week - not good!
We went for lunch at the Davenport Diner and the menu was very extensive and well-priced and the place was busy. Larry tells us they don't serve anyone who arrives after 3pm as they are a breakfast and lunch only venue.
They then came back to our place and we talked for some time. Suddenly the evening had arrived s it was a quick run on Netflix and by 8.40pm (1.40am UK time) we were wilting a bit so retired to bed. We continue to adjust to the time difference and we are getting there!
